"Can't wait to return"
Visiting family that live nearby but stayed here for two nights. Beautiful room with two twin beds, very comfy. En suite was a good size too and the tea and biscuits in our room were greatly appreciated. Richard and Louise were very welcoming and made us feel at home. Breakfast offered a wide range of tasty food; highly recommend the pancakes with nutella and banana as they were delicious. Would love to return and explore the grounds as we didn't have time. We look forward to hopefully returning next year!

"Enjoyable in every way"
Having just spent three days at Glenshieling House whilst going to the Transport Extravaganza at Glamis Castle would like to pass on our thanks to Richard and Louise for welcoming us into their beautiful home.We cannot fault anything and would definitely recommend you, from the welcome , the immaculately clean and beautifully appointed home in lovely grounds, with attention to detail in every way, not to mention the superb cooking from Louise.Richard was so helpful with recommendations of restaurants and places to visit in the area.To say this is a relatively new venture they have excelled themselves and deserve every success .We did not feel like visitors we felt like old friends and can't wait to make another trip to stay with them again and of course not forgetting little Daisy.

"Still the best"
Although we were sorry to see Rosemary and Catherine turn over the reins of Glenshieling to new owners - they couldn't have made a better choice than Louise and Richard. They are two of the friendliest and hospitable hosts imaginable. It seems that nothing is too good for their guests. Glenshieling House is one of those places where EVERYTHING is marvelous - from the view the moment you enter the grounds, to the perfectly appointed and immaculate rooms and marvelously prepared breakfasts to the lovely lounge complete with the family pet, Daisy, to keep you company if you so desire. Anyone who visits Glenshieling House must agree - one time is just not enough.
