Castles - Glamis Castle

A true monument to the rich Scottish heritage, Glamis Castle is well worth a visit. It is the grand family home of the Earls of Strathmore and Kinghorne and is famous for being the legendary location of Shakespeare’s Macbeth. The lavish background of Glamis Castle doesn’t stop there, as it was also the childhood home of The Queen Mother and the birthplace of Princess Margaret.

Glamis Castle is a majestic and impressive place, with turrets and towers fit for a Queen. The famous castle is steeped in history and has evolved greatly to form the beautiful architectural treasure that we see today.
