John and Steve warmly welcome you to Glenshieling House, which is a magnificent Victorian villa built in 1893; peacefully located within its own private gardens and woodland of three acres and set amongst the rolling Perthshire Hills, yet only a fifteen minutes stroll to Blairgowrie Town centre and all its amenities.
We pride ourselves on our delicious breakfast, with fresh eggs from our “Glenshieling Girls”, the outstanding service and the house itself, which has been extensively renovated, with five beautiful en suite bedrooms that offer all the modern comforts with a contemporary twist yet retains the charm of a character property.
Glenshieling House has 5 en-suite bedrooms. 4 rooms on the first floor and a small deluxe room on the ground floor.
Served in our breakfast room with open fire. It is important you receive the best quality Perthshire Breakfast.
We can accommodate up to 12 people in the 5 rooms we have, and cater for up to 30 people on a buffet basis.
You will find a relaxed friendly atmosphere which includes an elegant guest lounge as well as a comfortable residents bar from which you can enjoy the views over the garden.
All our breakfast ingredients are, where possible, locally sourced – It is very important to us that you receive the best quality Perthshire Breakfast possible and at the same time we want to support local businesses.
Blairgowrie lies in the Southern Highlands of Scotland and is an ideally situated base. Whatever the purpose of your visit to the area you will find a wealth of activities and places to visit.
You will find Glenshieling Guesthouse just off the A93 road (Snow Roads), which leads directly to the ski slopes of Glenshee and then onto Braemar and Royal Deeside. We are also only a short car journey to Perth, Dundee and St Andrews. We are also perfectly situated for sightseeing, golfing, cycling, shooting, fishing, walking, adventurous sports activities and shopping.
