Scottish Antique & Arts Centres, Abernyte

The Scottish Antique and Arts Centre has two locations. The one in Abernyte is 14 miles (around a 30-minute drive) away from Glenshieling House. If you are looking for a lovely day where you can do some shopping and have a nice meal, then a visit to the Scottish antique and arts centre is a great option. The centre was opened in 1997. It started as a small independent business. As it has become more successful, the business has grown and become a place to showcase local treasures.

The centre is located in the heart of rural Perthshire. Surrounded by trees and rolling hills, the centre is a lovely place to visit.

On your visit to the centre, you can see the offerings from several different dealers. The centre plays host to many different art and antique dealers. You can see their offerings on the website before your visit. Or, you can enjoy exploring the treasure trove of finds that are hidden in the many rooms of the centre.

The centre is open seven days a week. It opens at 10 am and closes at 5 pm. Parking is free, and the whole place is wheelchair accessible. It’s really easy to fit a visit into your stay in Perthshire.
